ASSOCIATION OF PATTERN OF MAXILLOFACIAL INJURIES WITH MECHANISM OF TRAUMA

Objectives:
 The objective of the study was to determine association pattern different maxillofacial injuries and fracture with mechanism trauma.Methods materials:
 This conducted in department oral surgery from June 2020 till December 2020. Fifty one patients were included this after taking an informed consent. data collection completed on a performa including variables age, gender, trauma, injury site trauma. Data analysed SPSS version 19. Percentage frequencies calculated for descriptive variables. Pearson Chi-square test applied statistical relationship between probability value less than 0.05 considered statistically signifi cant.Results:
 In 51 patients, 42 male (82.4%) 9 female (17.6%) included. Mean age 23.5 years. trauma road traffic accidents (RTA) 37 (72.5%), 7 (13.7%) had fall, assault 5 (9.8%) fire arm 2 (3.9%) patients. compound fractures 41(80.4%) simple 8 (15.7%) comminuted 2(3.9%) RTA associated ZMC parasymphyseal mandible.Conclusion:
 diff ers injury. incidence is more among front seat passengers drivers back passengers. Thus safety measures are required drivers.
